2013 12 19 — Moogfest, Asheville, USA

Moogfest announced headliners for 2014 today. Kraftwerk will play three 3D concerts. The festival will take place in Asheville, North Carolina at the end of April. Tickets are on sale now.

2013 12 18 — Positivus Festival, Latvia

Another european gig was announced today. Kraftwerk will play at Positivus Festival, Salacgrīva, Latvia. The concrete date of the performance is not specified yet. Festival will be held from July 18th to 20th.

2013 12 16 — Retrospective concerts in Vienna

There are plans for eight retrospective concerts in central Europe! Kraftwerk will play the Catalogue live at Burgtheater, Vienna, Austria from May 15th to May 18th. Tickets can be purchased since January 28th with a limit of 4 tickets per person.

2013 12 12 — Kraftwerk will perform in Slovakia for the first time

Kraftwerk will perform on July 10th for the first time in Slovakia, concretely in Trenčín at the Bažant Pohoda Festival. The 3-day festival tickets can be purchased for €89 at link below.

2013 12 10 — More concerts announced

Another concert in Sweden was announced today, where Kraftwerk will perform in August. The band choosed an impressive venue, an old limestone mine near Rättvik in central Sweden. Furthermore, Kraftwerk will play the third concert in Mexico City and the second gig in Oakland, California.

2013 12 02 — Concerts in America

In the last days more concerts for 2014 were announced. The concerts will take place in Mexico and the USA. Kraftwerk will play second gig in Mexico City on March 14th. Then, the band will move to the United States, where Kraftwerk will present eight retrospective shows over 4 nights between March 18th and March 21st (2 gigs per evening). After that a single concert will take place at Fox Theater, Oakland, California. Tickets presale for the LA shows starts tomorrow at 10AM PST, the presale for the concert in Oakland starts on December 5th at 10AM too.

2013 11 12 — New concert dates

Today at 9AM the tickets for the concerts in Stockholm were rapidly sold out, so the group decided to add two more concerts on 23rd January at 7PM and 10PM. Moreover on March 13th Kraftwerk will perform in Mexico at El Plaza Condesa.

2013 11 07 — Tour 2014

Kraftwerk concerts will take place next year. The band announced the first two concerts for next year today. It will take place in the Swedish capital Stockholm on 21st and 22nd January 2014. It will be followed by Dance Machines exhibition at the Moderna Musset (museum of Modern Art), which runs until the end of April. 2013 07 20 — Four gigs in the Netherlands?

According to the tickets order form for Kraftwerk's concerts in Eindhoven on October 17th and 18th, there won't be just two, but four concerts. In both of these days there will be performances at 19:00 and then at 22:15.

2013 07 16 — Two gigs in the Netherlands

Two new concert dates have been published on the official website of Kraftwerk. Kraftwerk will play 3D concerts in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, on October 17th and 18th. Concerts will be held in the conference center of Evoluon. Capacity of the venue is 800 people. Ticket pre-sale starts this Saturday, the 20th July, at 10 AM CET.

2013 06 19 — New 3D exhibition in Berlin

New exhibition has been announced by the Sprüth Magers gallery in Berlin today. The expo will take place from 5th July to 31st August 2013. The exposition is entitled 3-D Video-Installation - 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8. It is not yet clear whether the exhibition will be identical to the Munich exhibition of autumn 2011.

2013 05 03 — The second concert in Iceland

Kraftwerk announced a second show in Iceland today. After the performance at Iceland Airwaves Festival on November 3rd, the next day Kraftwerk will play a 3D concert in Reykjavik at the Harpa concert hall. This is the fiftieth concert this year.

2013 04 26 — Esplanade Theater, Singapore

Yesterday the Asian part of this tour has started. Kraftwerk played a concert at the Esplanade Theatre in Singapore, where they performed in 2008. Tomorrow the next stop is Seoul, Korea, where Kraftwerk will perform for the first time. In Singapore Kraftwerk played the classic setlist, which can be viewed on the link below.

2013 04 18 — Montreux Jazz Festival

After a month of silence next concert has been announced today. Kraftwerk will play at Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland on July 17th.

2013 03 19 — Latitude Festival

Another rumour was officially confirmed today: Kraftwerk will perform at Latitude Festival in Southwold, Suffolk, UK. The festival will take place from 18th to 21st July 2013 and Kraftwerk will play a 3D show.

2013 03 11 — Two new gigs announced

Today two new concerts have been announced. First, Kraftwerk will play 3D concert in Seoul, Korea on 27th April. A few hours later another performance have been announced on the official website of Iceland Airwaves Festival in Reykjavík. The festival will run at in late October and November, so probably we can expect more concerts in the meantime. For 2013 there are 47 gigs announced and according to rumours we can expect Kraftwerk's appearance at Latitude Festival in the UK.

2013 03 08 — Another gig in Asia

Kraftwerk will play 3D concert on April 30th at NTU Sports Centre in Taipei, Taiwan.

2013 02 28 — Concerts in Asia

Less than 24 hours elapsed since the announcement of the Dublin's Longitude Festival and another date have been confirmed. Kraftwerk will play 3D concert in Hong Kong at Kitec Star Hall on 4th May 2013.


Another concert has been announced: Kraftwerk will play at Esplanade Theatre in Singapore on April 25th, where Kraftwerk already played a concert in 2008.

2013 02 27 — Longitude Festival, Dublin

The seventh European festival, where Kraftwerk will perform, is Longitude Festival in Dublin. The festival takes place from 18th to 21st July 2013. The exact date of Kraftwerk's performance is not known at this time. As already mentioned, there have been rumours that Kraftwerk could also play a concert at Latitude Festival in Beccles, UK. Line-up will be announced on March 19th.

2013 02 25 — Roskilde Festival in Denmark

Another festival performance in Europe will be the danish Roskilde festival, where Kraftwerk played a concert already in 1998. The festival will take place from June 29th to July 7th 2013, but the exact date of the Kraftwerk's appearance is not known yet. There have also been rumours that Kraftwerk would perform at Latitude Festival in England, but the first artists announcement will be made on March 19th on the festival website.

2013 02 19 — Retrospective concerts in Sydney & 3D gig in Oslo

Next gig in Europe was announced. Kraftwerk will play a 3D concert at Øya Festival, Oslo, Norway. The exact date of the concert (as well as the date of performance at Flow Festival in Helsinki) is not specified yet.


Tonight another series of retrospective concerts was announced. After the Japan concerts Kraftwerk will move to Australia, where they will play eight retrospective concerts in four days (probably two concerts per night) from May 24th to 27th 2013 at the famous Sydney Opera House.

2013 02 13 — Two 3D gigs in Europe announced

Today Kraftwerk have announced two new gigs in Europe in summer 2013. They will perform at T in the Park Festival in Kinross, Scotland on 12th July and also at Flow Festival, Helsinki, Finland on 11th August, where Kraftwerk performed in 2009 for the first time. Both the concerts will be 3D.

2013 02 12 — Nine gigs in Japan

Speculations were confirmed. Kraftwerk will play eight retrospective 3D concerts at Akasaka Blitz in Tokyo, Japan, on May 8th to 11th and May 13th to 16th 2013. Subsequently on May 18th they will also play a 3D concert in Osaka at Namba Hatch. This year the number of concerts is so far the largest since the world tour 2004.

2013 02 10 — Rumours on retrospective gigs in Tokyo

In previous days, on the social networks Twitter and Facebook a lot of rumours appeared. According to these rumours Kraftwerk should play concerts at Akasaka Blitz in Tokyo, Japan, from May 8th to 11th and from May 13th to 16th 2013. The sum of the dates put together eight days, so it could be another set of retrospective concerts. Nevertheless, these rumours aren't confirmed, and therefore completely irrelevant.


In addition to yet unconfirmed rumours about retrospective concerts at Akasaka Blitz in Tokyo another rumour appeared, that further concert in Japan should take place on the 18th May 2013 at Namba Hatch, Osaka, where Kraftwerk already played concerts in 2004. This information is also unverified yet.

2013 02 07 — First concert at Tate Modern, London

Yesterday Kraftwerk started a retrospective series of concerts at London's Tate Modern, which runs throughout the following week. Last night, songs from the first album Autobahn were played. It seems that nothing hardly surprising happened last night, the setlist was identical to the setlist of the Düsseldorf gigs.

2013 01 11 — First concert in Düsseldorf

Today Kraftwerk played the first of a series of concerts at Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen in Düsseldorf. One of the surprises of the evening was the spatial audio output, which provided a number of speakers placed around the entire auditorium (so called Wave field synthesis). So, in addition to 3D visualizations Kraftwerk now use also 3D sound. Another big surprise was the absence of Stefan Pfaffe. New fourth member is Falk Grieffenhagen, sound engineer and he also studied saxophone, flute, clarinet and piano. In addition to audio engineering he also deals with visual graphics he and is a software developer. Not yet clear if this is only a temporary personnel change, but looking into the history of Kraftwerk each personnel change was definitive (apart from a short absence of Ralf Hütter in the early times).
